So I finally saw Scary Godmother playing on CN today. I have no idea why watching it makes me so ridiculously happy, but it does. I love watching it (though the second movie is a little weird). I think part of it is because my little fangirl heart just can't help but ship Orson/Hannah. Haha, I'm such a dork. I should've put those two somewhere on

It's just been really weird. I've missed a lot of episodes, but I remember a lot of missed moments between Shaggy and Velma because Scooby suddenly butts in, and I always wondered, "Does he not notice what's going on?" Then they have Shaggy sneaking around to go to prom with Velma, and Scooby gets mad at him for going to prom instead of hanging out with him. And then Scooby catches the two of them, and both Scooby and Velma actually try to make Shaggy choose between the two of them. Scooby even asked if Shaggy was cheating on him! Not that Velma's been any better about it, because she's being so demanding and trying to change Shaggy so much. And they wonder why Shaggy's so confused.
I did like a recent episode though, where Scooby acknowledges that he's kind of been in the way of Shaggy and Velma's relationship. But I haven't seen how that relationship has progressed since then.
I'm not sure how I really feel about Shaggy/Velma. I kind of feel like they were paired together just because of Fred/Daphne, and they didn't want the two of them to get lonely or anything. But I'm also intrigued, and I kinda do want to see where they're going with this. But I agree, I really did like him with the alien from the movie lol

LOL, really? Scooby asked Shaggy if he was cheating on him? That is... actually a little funny. I need to watch that show more often. Poor Shaggy, all the dude wants to do is eat and relax, not be stuck in a love/friendship triangle.
That why's I called Shaggy/Velma a door prize romance: I think I saw someone use the term in a fanfiction community to describe a pairing where it feels like the authors stuck two characters together just to see all of the cast in a romantic relationship or something. But I'm willing to watch how Shaggy and Velma progress too. It certainly can't be any worse than Dulcy/Rotor (I know I bought that up before, but that still stands as one of the worst door prize romances I've ever seen before).
They need to bring Amber back. XD
I didn't know you were interested in Scooby Doo. Dare I ask what you think of Scrappy Doo? XD *is curious*

When I heard that, I just shook my head and sighed. I mean, I thought Velma was being a little ridiculous, but that was really weird. And Scooby unable to be happy for Shaggy and Velma is about as bad as Velma making Shag pick her over his best friends.
That pretty much sums them up all right. Still, I can't help but see how this relationship turns out. If the writers really want something to develop from this, though, they really need to have Velma and Scooby sort their issues out, if only for Shaggy's sake.
They totally do XD
I'm not a huge Scooby-Doo fan, to be honest. The only version of Scooby that I really loved was A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, because I thought it was cute. And I've seen the Scooby movies with the Boo Brothers, the Ghoul School, and the Reluctant Werewolf (Shaggy had a girlfriend in that movie, didn't he? lol). I haven't even seen that much of What's New, Scooby-Doo?, though I've seen a few episodes of it. I also really liked the Scooby-Doo movies from 1998 to 2001, but didn't see the ones that came after that.
I never really thought much about Scrappy. I didn't particularly care about him either way. Though when I learned that he was the villain in the first live-action Scooby-Doo movie (which I haven't seen either), it was a WTF moment for me.

Agreed.
Ah, I see. Yeah, Shaggy has a girlfriend named Googie (for real XD) in "Reluctant Werewolf". The original show is kind of flat in terms of characterization and repetitive, so I like how the recent series fleshes the characters out and has more clever humor. The DTV movies are also pretty fun, and some of the newer haven't bad. In "Monster Of Mexico", Scooby had a little chihuahua girlfriend. It was pretty adorable. =D Have you heard of "The Thirteen Ghosts Of Scooby Doo", by any chance?
That's better then how just about everyone has this blind hatred of Scrappy. The way Warner Bros goes all out to show their hatred of him is ridiculous. They're acting just like those silly character bashers. I'd actually like to see someone write a fanfic featuring a revamped version of Scrappy. I love the concept of Scooby having a young nephew who idolizes him.
