" Hey Motoki, what's this?" Usagi yelled acorss the Arcade. He dropped his wet rang into the sink and headed over to the far booth to check it out. She held up a piece of paper with black flowing writing on one side. He pulled the paper from her hand and upon further inspection, he noticed it was a poem about Usagi.

"Looks like its about you." he smiled and jabbed her in good humor. She quirked an eyebrow and ripped the poem out of his hands. It took her a while to get the acrostic poem but as soon as it clicked, she broke into a wide grin.
"Oh Mina is so cool!" she squealed and when Motoki gave a confused look she extrapalated. "We learned these in class yesterday. Each day we learn a new poem and at the end of the week we have to have a packet with all 5 styles in it."
"Oh, so Mina did this one?" he asked casualy. She nodded surley and left with a smile.

Usagi slid into the booth two days later and jumped in surprise when something crackled under her butt. She lifted a wade of paper from underneath her seat and smoothed out the rumpled pages. Her friend's looked at her oddly but continued to talk about their orders. She glanced at the first page and noticed her name. She was instantly drawn into the new poem and read the other two as well. Both were about her.

She gulped and poked Mina in the side. Mina giggled stupidly and hissed ‘stop’, batting her eyes at Motoki taking the girls orders. She hadn’t even noticed that he had come over.
“Um, Mina?” she asked quietly. The other blond turned to look at her friend and noticed the deathly color of her face. Grasping her hand Mina urged her to go on.
“Usagi, what’s wrong?" The other girls and Motoki turned to see what was wrong. She gulpped again and held the poems out to Mina.
"You wrote these right Mina." she whispered hopefully. Mina read over the sweet poems and shook her head 'no'. "Motoki, I found two more. Here." The young man took the crumpled sheets of paper and scanned the messages. He smiled and handed them back to her with a goofy look on his face.
"It's ok Usagi-chan. Just dom't thorw those out ok?" and left to fill the girls' order. Usagi nearly fainted and her friends swarmed over her to help her sit up straight and find out what the heck was going on.

On thursday, Usagi ran straight to the Aracade after school, searched the booth until she found the piece of paper, and ran all the way home before reading it. She didn't even notice a certain arch rival sipping coffe and smiling gleefully.
As she flopped onto her bed she pulled the poem out of her pocket. To her surprise, it had been shaped into the shape of a bunny and an ice cream cone.
Usako, you
make my
heart jump
every time
its sees your smiling
face. I feel it bleed
as . you leave . a
room, all 0 life gone
from my body.
How do
you hold such power
over me? I ache and yearn
for your touch, yet shy away from
your smile, your grace, your energy.
My shell has been crushed by your
light, an never ending stream or joy,
of laughter, of you. Can I
call you mine? When will
I hold you in
my arms? How can
I live my dreary life
without you to share it
with? Do I even merit
The chance to ask this
of you. I ask
an angel
to bestow a smile
upon a mere mortal and
the heavens rumble in anger.
My soul cries as you take
wing to your true home.

She sighed at its beauty and fell asleep with it under her pillow that night.

On the last day on their poetry lesson, they learned about Limericks and Usagi laughed at all the funny poems the class came up with. She hoped her mystery writer would be up to the challange of making her laugh. As soon as the bell rang, Usagi shot out of class with Mokato, Mina, and Ami right on her heels. They all wanted to see the final poem which, by all romantic movie rights, should have the author's signature. Usagi almost crashed straight throughthe Arcade doors in her hurry. She ran to the booth, but before the girls could see if there was another paper on the seat, she slid to a halt. Mina leaned around her friend to see a smug Mamoru sitting right where the letters usually sat. Usagi growled and ran the rest of the way to the booth.
"Where is it you BAKA!" she shouted shrilly. He smiled, took a sip of coffee, and pulled a rumpled piece of paper from his pocket. Usagi jumped for it but only ended up on the floor.
"I suppose you're looking for this?" he inquired and she nodded dumbly. "Well it can't be too important. I don't suppose you would mind if I read it Odango?" Her shriek of terror gave him his answer and he threw it on the floor next to her. She smiled as if christmas had come early and gently opened the last poem. The girls crowded around to try and read it too, but her yelp of surprise made them cover there ears in pain.

Her eyes fluttered in a faint and Makato had to catch her before she conked her head on the tile. Usagi woke up within seconds and pulled herself up with the booth edge as a crutch. Mamoru looked at her shyly and before he knew what happened Usagi was hugging him to death. The hugs stopped before he could return them and she started beating him over the head with her hand.
"You BAKA!" she screamed and the smile on his face fell. "You were supposed to do a limerick! Now you ruined the whole thing."
"Usagi I tried but I couldn't write one that would be appropriate for you." he said quietly. She stopped beating him and looked at him funny. He sighed and pulled her down next to him.
"Appropriate? Waht do you mean?" she asked and her friends all snirked in laughter.
"Well this is not an appropriate one.
