Drabble
Here's another drabble from me...wow...that makes...three that I've done. o.o I'm a very bad person....x.x This one's for number niety-nine, "GEEK" , but I don't like the ending. Enjoy!
Title: Coke-Bottle Glasses

It was an extremely bad day for Chiba Mamoru. He had woken up late, which meant he couldn’t get his morning cup of coffee. To top it all off, in his rush, he managed to drop his glasses and crush them into little pieces of rubbish. As a result, he was forced to wear his thick-rimmed bifocals.
Now, there he was, sitting in the arcade, desperately trying to cover his face with a thick textbook.
Mamoru-baka!”
Startled, he dropped his book and whipped his head around to meet the face of Tsukino Usagi.
“Hello Odango,” he coughed into his fist.
That’s when he heard it: small chortles of held back laughter. Scowling at Usagi, he crossed his arms and waited for her to finish her little episode. Mamoru also noted with some amusement that she was attracting a crowd.
“Are you quite finished?” He asked, raising an eyebrow. As Usagi wiped the tears from her eyes, she nodded her head. “Good. Now what, pray tell, was so hilarious?”
Grinning like a fool, she leaned into him and muttered two words.
“Your glasses.”
Mamoru blinked, and then narrowed his eyes at her.
“My…glasses?” He clarified.
“Yes,” she nodded. “Your coke bottle glasses.”
“What’s wrong with my glasses?”
“You look like a nerd.”
“A NERD?!”
“Oh…did I say nerd? I meant GEEK!”
“…What in Kami…”
“Yeah…you look like a big SUPER GEEK!” Usagi added.
“Odango…” he warned, leaning towards her face.
“…Even George Lucas wasn’t this geeky…”
“Usagi…” he growled.
“Man…Melvin has NOTHING against you…” she continued to ramble.
“THAT’S IT!”
Mamoru launched himself at the blonde haired teen, making her gasp. He twisted her to face him, then hastily dipped her down, kissing her roughly. Usagi just went wide-eyed, then kissed him back.
“Now then…” Mamoru said, brushing his clothes off and taking off his lenses. “Would a geek kiss like that?”
Usagi stared at him, then looped her arms around his neck.
“Don’t know, but if that’s how a geek kisses, they don't get enough credit."
Meh…I don’t like the ending…but I haven’t done a drabble in a while, so here it is! XP
