Week 1: Day 1... On the last day of the challenge, oh yeah ;D
1a. Crab
"Mamo-chan! Can you get something for me, please please please?" Usagi said excitedly as she saw a UFO catcher on the other side of the supermarket.
"Huh? This is just a little embarrassing for me, you know." Mamoru asked as he took out his wallet, and shuffled through the change pocket. He loved her too much to ever say no, but he made it a point to show his reluctance.
"Yay! You're the best!" Usagi said, and gave him a small peck on the cheeks. "Leave the grocery shopping to me!"
Mamoru rolled up his sleeves and inserted a coin into the machine.
"Wha-Whaaaat? I definitely got that! Why do they make the claws so ineffective?" Mamoru muttered to himself and inserted another coin.
It wasn't long before Usagi came back just as the crane dropped Mamoru's first catch down the chute.
"Good timing," He said as he reached his hand into the chute. "I finally managed to beat the rigged machine."
"Yaaaay, it's a..." Usagi's face fell as she saw what he was holding. "I think I'm going to go return these crabs..."
Mamoru looked from the cute cuddly crab he was holding to the brown paper bag in Usagi's arms and chuckled at the irony of it all. He went over and gave her a hug. "I'm sure crab-chan won't mind if we eat his cousins... I know I don't."
