"What does this mean?"
Mamoru glanced down at the book that had been shoved ungraciously under his nose. "What does what mean?"
"This!" Usagi's finger jabbed impatiently at the page. "What does this sentence mean?"
"'Shakespeare, for instance, is the classic playwright.'" He looked up, frowning. "I don't understand--"
"Neither do I!"
"--*what*, exactly, don't you understand?"
"What do you mean you don't--"
"If I don't then it means I don't!" Usagi snapped. "Now are you going to tell me--"
"Hang on a sec," Mamoru interrupted, "are yo telling me you don't know what the word 'classic' means?"
"O-Of course I know what it means, dummy! I'm just not--"
"Who are you calling dummy, dummy?"
"You!"
Mamoru rolled his eyes and had just opned his mouth to retort when Motoki, who had heard their argument from all the way across the arcade, walked by and said with an amused grin, "Can't even discuss a definition of a word without turning it into the third world war. Classic."
As he walked away, there was a stunned silence in his wake, followed by a guffaw and Usagi's loud outburst, "But what does that even MEAN?"
