Phew... almost done!
Second Period: Literature

Romance
“I can’t believe you’re giving me roses again! It’s our anniversary, I wanted something romantic.”

“Roses are the symbol of romance. Plus, I made these myself, just for you.”

“Do you even know what romance means? It means something special.”

“Are you saying my roses aren’t special?”

“Answer me this… do you or do you not produce roses on a daily basis?”

“Yes, but…”

“But nothing! If you do it everyday then it’s not special and it’s not romantic. Think of something else!”

Poem
“So the roses didn’t go over too well, huh?”

“Nope, you were right, I shouldn’t have waited until the last minute.”

“So what are you going to do now?”

“I have no idea. All I know is that it has to be ‘romantic’.”

“How about a candlelight dinner?”

“Maybe.”

“Come on, you’re Tuxedo Mask, the epitome of romance what do you normally do to make all the girls swoon?”

“How should I know, I’m not a girl.”

“Oh, I’ve got it… those dorky speeches you always give. Write one down and tell her it’s a poem.”

Tragedy
“This is horrible; tragic! What are we going to do?!”

“I’m sorry Usagi.”

“This is no time for sorry, Motoki, what we need is a plan of action. There has to be a way to fix this. Rei, any ideas?”

“I guess I could take a look at the manual.”

“Good, what about you Makoto?”

“I say we try hitting it.”

“OK, go give that a try.”

“What about you Ami, ice is kind of your specialty right?”

“Yes, but that doesn’t mean I know how to repair a…”

“You made a vow to protect me. If we don’t get that freezer fixed then there will be no ice cream or milkshakes! I can’t live like that!”

Conflict
He was dark, cold, and brooding. It wasn’t intentional. It was just a protection mechanism. He had learned at a very young age that it is best not too let anyone get to close. Caring about people simply opens you up to weakness and eventually pain.

She was light, and warm, and loving. When she looked into your eyes you couldn’t help but believe that everything was going to be fine, maybe even great. She was optimism incarnate. He knew that she deserved better than him but he just couldn’t bring himself to let her go.

Essay
“This isn’t right at all!”

“It’s just a myth Usagi. It it’s not supposed to be historically accurate.”

“But this isn’t even close. He wasn’t a shepherd and we most certainly didn’t have one hundred daughters while he was sleeping! Everyone knows I sleep a lot more than he does anyway. Who can we contact to straighten this out?”

“Usagi, can we please just finish the essay?”

“Fine, but as soon as I’m Queen… Oh my gosh! Did you see this picture?! I was never that fat!”

Classic
“Wait! Sailor Moon, what are you doing?”

“I’m about to dust the Youma, what does it look like I’m doing?”

“But you didn’t give your speech.”

“Yeah… I thought it would save time. I’m sure they know who I am by now.”

“But you have to give the speech; It’s classic”

“Fine. I am Sailor Moon! I stand for love. And I also stand for justice. And in the name of the Moon, I will punish you!”
