Hehehe…I’m suffering from insomnia, so I decided to hop on the computer and write a quick drabble. Enjoy! Wheeeee…..
“So did you find out?”
She nodded her head reluctantly, a blank expression adorning her features. The man stepped forward, grasping her chin in his large hand.
“And now you ARE going to tell me, right?”
With an amused grin, she nodded a slow no.
“Awww…Come ON Usako….” the man whined.
Smirking, Usagi backed away from him, only to have him take two steps closer towards her.
“Sorry Mamo-Chan. You lost out,” she shook her head innocently.
With a pout, Mamoru pulled his wife to the couch and set her down in his lap. I mean, was it his fault he had to work an extra shift this morning?
“Please Usako…”
“No,” she giggled.
“Usako…” he warned.
Then the phone rang. Pressing the speakerphone button, Usagi greeted the line.
“Moshi moshi?”
“USAGI-CHAN!” Minako’s bubbly voice boomed. “I just heard the good news! Congratulations on the new baby--”
Usagi quickly pushed the speaker button again and hung up on Minako. Smiling back at Mamoru, he glared at her.
“Minako knows…but I don’t?”
“Pretty much.”
“How come she gets to know the sex of the baby? How come SHE gets to know whether Chibi-Usa is our first child or not?”
Smiling softly, she pecked him on the cheek.
“Because you annoy me dear.”
Sighing, Mamoru raised his hands in defeat.
“Are you ever gonna tell me?” He asked, leaning towards her lips.
Kissing him briefly, she grinned broadly.
“I don’t think so. It’s my little secret.”
Wahooo….I’m hyped up…I’m gonna try to sleep now.
