Yeah, I try and stay away from TV tropes as I can be sure to spend an hour or so there.

I've always been intrigued by Light's feelings towards his family. One of the most interesting parts I had to write was the episode where he's considering killing Sayu... there's that moment where he's like, "No! I can't kill Sayu!" and you're all like, "YAY HE HAZ MORALS!" but then he adds on, "I'm the only one who knows about the trade so suspicion would lead back to me!" and you have to wonder if that really is all he cares about. The whole Soichiro death scene was similar (obviously some of it was acted when he was trying to get Mello's name written down, but he didn't need to "act" so hard once Soichiro had passed... >.>)

LOL, I didn't think about whether d would be recognizable. XD I share a lot of his traits, but not all (I suffered a lot in grade school BECAUSE I was more intelligent, I got called names and teased all the time)

Oh, I totally get why Light doesn't love her; she is a little obsessive, and as you mention she has a talent for throwing his life into disarray. However, it wouldn't kill him to sympathize at least a little with her; she's obviously very vulnerable and desperate for affection, and I wish he'd at least feel some pity for her instead of seeing those traits as tools to be exploited.

BTW, I suppose I should technically see if I can ding you with the memes, eh? ;-)
You don't have too many icons, but how about the Elfen Leid/Death Note and the Evangelion one? I'm curious about the Sephiroth one too. XD
