What is it about Amsterdam and bad airflight stories?
It's time for (another?) Good Idea, Bad Idea.
Good Idea: Asking the ticket agent in Cairo for a bulkhead or an aisle seat.
Bad Idea: Being in a half asleep stupor due to it being 2 AM, and getting assigned a middle seat, while suffering tummy trouble.
Good Idea: Remaining sitting next to the slightly chatty but nice Russian gentleman.
Bad Idea: Switching with his wife so that they might sit together, but as a result ending up sitting next to an Egyptian businessman of truly... spherical proportions.
At any rate, I am here again in Amsterdam, alone this time... my parents are by now in Rome on the next leg of their trip. Lord knows why I thought I should come home instead of joining them, it's not as if I have any work to do other than tank Karazhan. >.> On the other hand, I find myself yearning for my nice apartment, and my friends, and my computer, so perhaps it's not all bad.
Gah, my time is running out at the net cafe. Anyway, have fun all, and see you all in a day or two. ^_^
