OMG, today was one of the craziest days I have ever had at work. I haven't experienced this kind of business at the Cheesehole in 10 years... Today/Yesterday was out 30th anniversary so they had a promotion that every cheesecake was $1.50 per slice. Which is massive since they normally cost at least $7 a slice. The catch was that you had to eat in the restaurant.
I arrived at 4pm and didn't leave until 2:30am... >.< And let me tell you that I didn't eat a thing until about 12:30am... Yeah it was absolutely insane. We had like 8 people doing different jobs in the bakery at the same time and we did a pretty good job of keeping good ticket times until like about 8pm. Then all hell broke loose. The printer ran out of ink, we had like a 50 name wait, we had such a big stack of tickets it was taking like 30minutes to get desserts out. *sigh*
But it is all over and now I am showered, cleaned, and just relaxing listening to music, surfing a little and waiting for my painkiller to kick it! ^_~ I don't know how I got through tonight. We sold almost 5,000 slices of cheesecake today. Can you believe that. Totally insane. I really need a freaking raise! lol
Ok, gonna try to get to bed soon. I do work in less than 12hrs AND I need to do laundry at some point before that shift. hahaha
