quick note before passing out
First and foremost. Thank goodness that I only work the night shift. I think I am done with the doubles now that the bear table at work is coming to an end. I was able to secure 3rd place so I should be getting a prize. Hopefully it is a $100 gift card. *crosses fingers* If it is $150 that would be even better, but I am just going to be thinking the lesser amount. What would be really nice is if the manager gives it to me tomorrow. Since the last few shifts all belong to the girl in 2nd place my spot is guaranteed. yay!
I am really happy because that will give me some spending money for xmas goodies. . . for myself! LOL I still don't know what to get a few ppl, but I did just spend a lot of $$ on myself again! Ack!!! I couldn't resist. I went on yahooJP and saw the Shugo Chara mascots that were just released so I ordered 2 of them. 1 set for me, and another set for my sister because once she sees mine she will try to nab em. Most likely at least... and if not then they can go as a gift later down the road or something.
What else did I buy? Oh yeah I went ahead and did an auction for the sailormoon dvds. I am hoping they are official region 4 dvds, but they might be bootlegs. I guess I will see once they arrive. I just didn't want to miss out on the good price since there were only 3 sets and it is getting harder and harder to find the American releases of SM. damn Toei for pulling all the licenses. *sigh*
So, I got the SM dvds for $100 shipping from Australia included. yay! And then I went ahead and did the buy it now for the sailormoon music cd from the American releases. I actually used to have this cd, but it was one of the many cds in my car at the time it got stolen. T_T But now I will have a brand new factory sealed cd coming in the mail so I am happy. I am amazed and shocked at how much ppl list SM goods now that it is oop here. I saw the same cd that I just got off ebay listed as USED costing anywhere form $50-$99. I couldn't believe it. But that is how it goes sometimes. So from now on I am not even trying to wait for a better deal for some stuff I am looking for. Just keep an eye out and try to be smart about when to buy. ^_~
Ahhh I have so much to do. Gotta pick up some cards and get mailing. Last minute gifts if I can figure out what the hell to buy ppl. Gotta pay bills and really get posting some stuff on ebay.
Well, it has been a long day for me and I have been fighting against falling asleep for like the last 2hrs. LOL Gonna sleep now and try to get up at a nice time so that my dad doesn't get pissy because I am "not spending time with the family" or being a "roommate instead of interacting with the family." >.<
Ok, not gonna get into that one now. Just gonna go to bed and get off the damn auction sites before my paycheck is gone. ja!
