One of my favorite books is Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. I've only read it once -- it was a library book -- and it was about ten years ago, however, I never got around to actually buying it. Finally, I remembered to put it on my Christmas wish list this year and, now, I have not one, but two copies of the book! My parents gave me a paperback version on Saturday and they also bought me a hard-bound version to put in my collection of "pretty" books. The only sad thing is is that the hard-bound version didn't come with a jacket so the paperback is going to go on the "pretty" book self. (NOTE: The only other "pretty" books I have are four of Jane Austen's novels that have very pretty covers). I began reading it today and I had forgotten how much I loved it. Seriously, reading the first paragraph of the prologue and anyone could tell why I love it. I read it aloud to Jeremy and he was like "Yep, I can see why you love it."
Aside from that, I need to finish North and South and work on my Senior Project, which is a novel. I'm thinking of beginning anew on the Senior Project, though, keeping the same story line and characters I had already written but just beginning it differently. Still working on it though...
Alright, time to relax before heading to work.
