Well.....
Most people say Lithuania (at least most of my friends, anyway), but an acquaintance/friend I met at a con last year said I was "part Lithuania, part Latvia, and part Canada..." given some personal observation, I think she may be right. ^^;
(Canada isn't fully in the pic because I tried who knows how many darn times to draw him properly to no avail this afternoon)
I'm like Liet, I guess, in that I'm kind of a doormat sometimes (or would that fit more appropriately under Canada or Latvia? .... but then all three kind of could - never mind!), Latvia in that I'm scared senseless of some things (such as the thought of my dad coming home - granted, he's not abusive, but he is a bit of a hard man to live with who expects a lot out of my brother and I - and he yells a lot; I've been afraid of loud noises since I was little - goes with the whole Aspergers thing apparently).... and I'm like Canada in that I'm usually not very noticeable (unless I'm doing something crazy like cosplaying in public ^^; ) and I apologize way too much for my own good - ask anyone who knows me.
So long story short, something post-worthy kinda did happen yesterday... my mom did get up (around 8-ish or so) and told me that she was driving herself to the hospital so they can figure out which meds DO work now (since the Symbalta isn't doing any good anymore). It's sort of routine - used to happen every six months like this, but it's been over a year now since the last time she went to a hospital apart from, you know, going to work (seeing as she's a CNA and all). Surprisingly... I'm not worried this time. She's not even suicidal this time, just extremely depressed and knows the only way to get things done in a timely manner about all of this is to "play their game," or treat it as a medical emergency.
That being the case, since my brother was going to spend the night elsewhere I spent the night at Rae's. Helped her and her siblings prepare for her mom's birthday party today while random relatives took her out so they can do that, and then came home around six-ish...
And I'm heading out to another friend's house now, actually, since my brother's sleeping over elsewhere again and I'm not supposed to be home alone overnight - even if we do have seven Rottweiler/Husky hybrids in our backyard and I'm 19 years old. Speaking of which, I probably should finish up this post before my friend picks me up. ^^;
