Saturday!
Saturday was quite the busy day. But in quite a good way.
After band camp (which wasn't much fun, I'll admit) there was Panera bread adventures; complete with matching straws (WOOT SHELLY!), awesome drinks (YUM, honeydew green tea blend thingy), and yummy pastries.
After that, there was changing in the parking lot, which directly led into the Shako fiasco. (I want copies of those pics! ALEX!)
Then at the game...well Alex wanted to see the beads inside my flute so she took of the top part...and dropped it...under the bleachers. And anyone who's been to a North football game knows that it's a sick place of torment, spiders, and gross things under there. There were trees! Trees man!
Anyhoodle, so John tried to help find it...to no avail (but thanks anyway!) and just when Alex was about to give up, and I was about to TELL her to give up, she found it. And there was great rejoicing. Yay!
Now for my Saturday night...
AT THE MALL:
I saw Jess and Danielle and we chatted for awhile (hope you liked the cinnamon twists! sorry again!) but they had to leave...so many a while later, they did so.
John came to meet me, Dan joined us after he got off work, and lo-and-behold Tim. But no Shelly. T_T And no Alex either, but that was known ahead of time.
Anyhoozle, So after buying a genORMous amount of candy (which I'm still pawning off to people) we ran...okay ran, skipped, ran some more, jogged, stopped to breath, and walked...back to the movies from Target just in time to miss a few previews and see 'Corpse Bride.'
It was quite a good movie I thought. I wouldn't say it was better than Nightmare, but it had it's own good qualities. Pretty funny with many cool musical numbers. ^_^
Through out this, Dan fell asleep and started snoring (he'd already seen the movie) and Tim picked at the same bag of pop rocks for half the movie. John and I were on sugar highs most of the movie. ^_^
Fun times. Oh and lest we not forget the momento of our joyous occasions in the form of a box of Junoir mints stuck to the ceiling! ^_~
It was an awesome time to be had by all. And we decided that it is definately something we must do again.
