Of Demonic Keyboards and Other Equally Evil Technological Devices- Technology is conspiring against me. Especially my keyboard. How do I know this, you ask? Well it's quite simple. The backspace key is the most frequently used key on my keyboard. I hit one key, the keyboard decides to put in another. It is a painstaking process to tpye anything. That's why spell check is good, very good. Anyway, the printer/scanner combo thingy is also in on the conspiracy. Every time I try to print something, the printer jams or prints it at a funky angle just to spite me. If I attempt to scan something, half of the image is usually cut off. As if that weren't bad enough, my CD player is evil too. It comes on at random times, blaring whichever of my CDs it wants. The other day, that happened and I figured I would go ahead and listen to Evanescence (the demonic device's pick of the day). The only problem was that it was a little too loud so I went to turn the volume down. It went up instead of down. Thinking I had turned the knob the wrong way, I turned the it the other way. The volume continued to go up. I shut the thing off. Technology. Is. Evil.
Thanks to my parents killing my mood by making me clean, I no longer feel like ranting. Evil. On a happier note, after about two months of writer's block I finally finished writing chapter two of my novel. Go me!
