Semi-day off
The title is accurate. Seeing as I worked for three hours this morning, it can't be considered a full day off, but seeing as it WAS only three hours, it can't be considered a working day, either. So this works out. Get it? Hah.
Work went by fast. We were hanging 500s today, which are just the clothes that people bring into the dressing rooms... and leave there. And holy crap. If you don't start those as soon as they begin to build, they will build up. We had at least... at LEAST... 50 carts of them to do. I personally got through four in the three hours I was there. That's not a bad number, really. My manager was actually impressed. Haha. But, again, seeing as it was mostly just busy work, the time really flew by.
Then I got home, stayed home for a bit, and then ran out to Barnes and Noble for a bit. I've read most of the books I got at the beginning of this summer, so I decided to stop in and use the rest of my gift card. ..The problem? I couldn't remember the name of the author I wanted to get. x___X; So, I didn't spend money there. I did, however, spend money at Arby's. I got a Giant Roastbeef sandwich, and curly fries. Mm. I'm so full now, though. Which is good, seeing as that's probably all I'm going to have to eat today. Lol. But, for the rest of the day, I get to just... chill. Tomorrow I'm going to see a movie with a friend of mine, and then back to work on Friday. In all, not a bad week.
Oh, and by the way. I have... a new screen name for AIM. The first one, in quite literally, seven years. Il Bello Solo. Add it. :D And thank you to Will for making it for me.
