[Point in time taken from canon] After Chapter 9, when she parts ways with the gang leader
[Background]
Mafuyu was formerly a notorious delinquent and the strongest gang leader of Saitama. While celebrating a victory involving her single-handedly defeating a rival gang, she gets caught by a policeman as her gang disperses and abandons her. She subsequently gets expelled from her school, which pisses off her mother greatly. Her mother then suggests she transfer to Midorigaoka High School, a far away school that has low standards in regards to student enrollment, as a new beginning. To add to the pressure, Mafuyu would be disowned if she gets expelled again. Out of fear, Mafuyu agrees to it.
And so, she decides to live this new chapter in her life by cutting her long blond hair and dying it back to its natural color, and resolves to become a "super shiny, ultra feminine ordinary high school student." On the day before school, she notices some yelling in an alleyway on her way back from the convenience store. She peeks into the alley and sees three thugs trying to intimidate a young man around his twenties. Oddly enough, the man does not seem to be bothered at all, evident by his smug smile. Mafuyu feels that she needs to intervene since she thinks three-against-one is unfair, but stops herself upon remembering her promise not to fight anymore. However, her restraint is broken when she notices one of the thugs pull out a box cutter and runs over to kick him in the face, as well as throwing her bag at another of them. She regresses back into her rough gangster form of speech and gives a piercing glare at them, which scares them away.
Mafuyu realizes her error when the man being assaulted speaks to her, and tries to run away. However, he is quick to stop her and they end up walking home together, as both of their places are in the same direction. Much to her disdain, Mafuyu finds out this guy, who introduced himself as Takaomi, is a complete jerk and says that the "nice older guy that used to live next door to her" was way better as a love interest than him. Takaomi then takes the food Mafuyu bought from the convenience store as "hush money" in regards to her former delinquency. In a rage, she dashes off, reminding herself that she'll probably never see him again. As fate would have it, it turns out that Takaomi is her homeroom teacher.
So begins the never-ending obstacles preventing Mafuyu from fully becoming an ultra-shiny super feminine ordinary high school student. In her class, she ends up having to sit next to a delinquent named Hayasaka, who loves fighting. After an incident in class, Mafuyu misinterprets this as him being a nice guy, despite Hayasaka's actions stemming from his fear of the crippling killing intent he felt from her. As Mafuyu tries to look for Hayasaka to thank him, she runs into Takaomi. He informs him that Hayasaka had gotten into another fight, and that it doesn't look so good for him. At first, Mafuyu refuses, stating that she's now nothing but a normal girl. Takaomi walks away, stating that he never knew she was "that kind of person." Realizing that her image is less important than abandoning a person in need, she rushes to the scene and finds Hayasaka knocked unconscious by a group of thugs. Due her strong sense of fighting honorably, she snaps upon discovering that they were fighting five-against-one, and ironically beats them all up single-handed. Trying to keep her cover, she pretends to have fainted from tripping over their unconscious bodies, and is "found" by Hayasaka. From this, they somehow become friends, despite the constant denial of the fact by Hayasaka.
A few days later, Mafuyu discovers that Takaomi is not only her homeroom teacher, but also happens to be the older guy who used to live next door to her back in Saitama. Not only that, but the reason why Mafuyu was so good at fighting was due to Takaomi forcing her to watch and even participate in fights as a kid. Mafuyu, like any other person, was baffled at how she could forget something so horrendous, and Takaomi notes that he had heard she fell off the horizontal bars and landed on her head, which may explain Mafuyu's trouble remembering her past.
The next problem Mafuyu faces is that Hayasaka accepts a challenge by a group of thugs yet again. She quickly remedies this by donning an ugly rabbit mask and alias, thus becoming the "mysterious Usa-chanman." Under this rather poorly made yet strangely effective disguise, she beats up the thugs and saves Hayasaka from getting completely owned. However, this creates a complication that Mafuyu didn't expect: Hayasaka becomes interested in Usa-chanman, with Mafuyu noting that he looks like a schoolgirl in love.
Takaomi ropes her and Hayasaka into creating a Disciplinary Club, with their first task is to defeat the gang leader causing trouble in their school. Knowing that resistance is futile, the two confront the gang leader who happens to have enough strength to punch a hole into a stone wall. Knowing that Hayasaka would be dead weight, Mafuyu pretends to trip everywhere in order to push Hayasaka and herself out of the incoming attacks. She then reschedules the fight via morse code, which both she and the gang leader understand.
Mafuyu intended to defeat the gang leader by herself as Usa-chanman, but ends up breaking her mask. She panics and asks Takaomi for help, who then shows her to a closet full of unused costumes from the drama club. They find a wig and a male Midorigaoka Academy uniform, and thus Mafuyu adopts a new persona to keep her cover: The cool male student "Natsuo." With this disguise, "Natsuo" assists Hayasaka in the impending fight, and effectively ends it by taking out the gang leader with a single punch to the face. "Natsuo" then declares "himself" as the new gang leader, and sets two ground rules: 1) Don't pick fights unless attacked, and 2) Don't skip classes.
On the weekend after, Mafuyu writes an absurdly girly letter under the name "Sunou" to her mysterious and just as girly pen pal, who goes under the name "Ichigo Love". Their letters are delivered by a carrier pigeon named Josephine. She reveals that she gained this pen pal because she saved the pigeon from drowning and sent a letter with it saying to be careful. Afterward, she goes out to buy food from the grocery store, but encounters the gang leader she defeated, who happens to be suspended from school. The gang leader actually turns out to be a nice guy who just wants to look tough, and offers Mafuyu some ice cream he bought. They later talk near the town's river, and he laments about being humiliated that he was defeated by some short guy. Feeling guilty, Mafuyu drags him to the movies to cheer him up. They later become friends, and the gang leader notes that it kind of felt like Mafuyu was his "prince." However, he happened to state his inner monologue out loud, and Mafuyu is slightly disturbed to hear this.
Later, it turns out that the banchou is actually "Ichigo Love," and both still remain oblivious to each other's identities.
[Personality] Mafuyu is an energetic, happy-go-lucky girl that dreams of living a stereotypical shoujo-manga-like school life full of romance and popularity. This reason, besides the fear of her mother disowning her, fuels her desire to change into an "ultra-shiny super feminine" high school student. Her energy is obvious from her prone to talk very fast, as well has having her active imagination go wild. Due to her incredibly unrealistic expectations, her imagination and enthusiasm goes into strange heights. For example, she tries to defy Takaomi's authority as a teacher by wearing her uniform in a casual manner, just because she saw it on TV (her plan failed). She also travels all the way to Akihabara to purchase a tracking device to learn more about him (this also ends up failing). Also, she's prone to jumping out windows.
Furthermore, she is pretty much stupid. She's unable to do math in her head, and has to resort to calculating it on a calculator or paper in order to get the answer. Often she's unaware that her actions are stupid, an example being when she's completely baffled by how someone on the phone knew it was her on the phone, despite the fact she introduced herself when she called. She's also pretty bad in artistic things; her drawings are terrible and her attempts at embroidering a flower just end up as an ugly mass of thread. Despite this, her street smarts as well as her knowledge about fighting and gangs are top notch.
Mafuyu has a strong sense of honor and dignity, and absolutely loathes unfair fights. These include using weapons, ganging up on one person, mugging, and attacking the weak, especially girls. Whenever she notices these things, she goes berserk and reverts back to her old delinquent personality. Her speech becomes more vulgar, and doesn't hesitate to go all out on her opponents. The only thing that triggers this is when she has to sit down for a long period of time, because she's not used to keeping still. If she doesn't get to stand up at times, she'll become extremely agitated. Also due to her sense of honor is her strong urge to help others in need, even if she ends up making things worse. She also never picks fights, and usually only uses violence when needed.
As noted before, Mafuyu has a slight fondness for femininity and loves cute and romantic things. She thinks that girly girls are delicate angels that need to be protected, and was always hurt when girls ended up being afraid of her when she saves them from thugs. Despite this, she treasures the dragon chain wallet she got from her gang as an apology gift... mostly because of the jingly sound it makes.
In the past, Mafuyu never made any real friends because everyone was afraid of her. Due to this, she becomes extremely moved and excited whenever someone treats her kindly. When she sees a person as her friend, she'll become extremely clingy and overly affectionate to that person. However, despite her new airy personality, her huge killing intent can be felt by those who sense it, even when she's not expressing such things outwardly.
[Abilities] Mafuyu used to be a gang leader, and the strongest of all delinquents in Saitama. Naturally, this means that she is an excellent street fighter. This is thanks to being forced into fights by Takaomi ever since she was a child, which also gave her a lot of physical strength. Not enough to punch the clothes off people, mind you, but enough to knock out some people with a single punch to the head or carry a guy twice her size "princess-style." However, there are a few others who are more powerful than her in terms of strength, but that's because brute strength is not how she triumphs in fights. Mafuyu has mastered formal fighting techniques, such as deflecting attacks, dodging, countering, and breaking her falls. She also has a high endurance, stating that she could take punches that could break stone, because of how Takaomi constantly beat her up when she was a kid. Not only that, Mafuyu can also jump from high places, with the maximum height being from the second floor of a school building... thought she admits it hurts from that height. She can also free herself when she's bound by ropes, and even gives her underlings a detailed tutorial on how to do so.
[Other important stuff] Even though she doesn't remember the fact, Mafuyu can't swim.

[First Person]
- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
A traveler making an arduous journey to become a super shiny, ultra-feminine high school girl. ♥
- If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?
[Lie.] A... Ah... I-I'm quite fragile, so I certainly hope that won't happen... Hahahaha...
- Someone is trying to rob you! What do you do?
Stealing?! That's one of the lowest things a maggot could ever do! If someone had the balls t' pull a stunt like that on me, I'd---[She gasps and catches herself, then reverts back to being docile. She tries her best to lie.] ... G-Give them the money and call the police, of course. How horrible society is these days. Hohohoho...
- What is more important to you: having friends or living on your own? Why?
Having friends, hands down! Without friends, you can't do fun stuff like play volleyball at the beach, or share textbooks when one of you forget yours, or be offered to have the heavy thing you're holding carried for you, or say stuff like "I've got your back!" I'll tell you, when these things first happened to me, I was almost brought to tears... I was soooo happy! Aaaah, this is youth...
- You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?
U-Urk...! Um... [Quick, Mafuyu, think of a good lie!] I'd reject it, of course! I'm an ordinary high school girl after all; violence is scary!
- Do you prefer adventure or the peaceful life?
A peaceful life, hands down! Though... I guess adventure can be inevitable at times... sometimes you use something rough to make something shiny, right?
[Third Person]
You've been in Somarium for some time and are out exploring. Choose one (or more) of the following settings: 1) a field full of aggressive scarecrows, 2) the forests of the floating mountain, 3) down by the lake, 4) somewhere in the streets of Somni. Remember to use the setting and the NPCs to your advantage. Have the character interact with the environment, or be reminded of home.
"Fruit, meatbuns, and bread~!"
The obnoxious singing voiced belonged to no other than Mafuyu Kurosaki, who had just stepped out of a convenience store to buy some dinner. Her instant ramen was practically destroyed back at her apartment, since she didn't make the water hot enough. If there's one thing she learned, it's never to try heating it some more in attempts to save it. The result wasn't pretty. Either way, it was nice that whoever made this place was kind enough to give her some money to start out with. Though she did wonder why they would need money in a 'dream world.'
It was pretty cool, though. Sure, she kind of missed Midorigaoka Academy, but there was a school here too! Plus, if this place was only a dream, she could use the experience at this school and apply it to the real world to truly become an ultra shiny, super feminine high school girl! Speaking of which, her first day was tomorrow, wasn't it? She couldn't wait! What would be in store for her? Mafuyu smiled dreamily as she begun to think of more potential moments for a sparkly love-love happy school life. Perhaps she'll run into someone with toast in her mouth when she turns the corner because she was late and couldn't bother to look? Maybe she won't be able to reach a book on a high shelf in the library, and someone offers to get it down for her? So many possibilities!
"Aah, the joys of yoooouuuth~" Mafuyu raised her arms in the air extravagantly and spun around in excitement, but paused when she realized something was off. "Eh?"
This area was not where her apartment was located. In fact, this didn't look like Somni at all. Is this... Espoir Village? Did she really get lost in her thoughts so much that she managed to walk all the way here?! Wait, now that she noticed the change of location, isn't this a field? Mafuyu then noticed that her foot was slightly wet, and looked down...
Tomatoes.
She had accidentally stepped on a tomato plant, and she could not hide this fact, as her shoe was now dyed a bright red. Nervously, she slowly looked up, and her fear was confirmed. Scarecrows. About ten or more of them advancing towards Mafuyu with their pitchforks ready. Oh man.. this was bad.
"Um... I-It was an accident, I swear..." she nervous waved her hands in front of her while stepping back, but realized that it was futile to reason with a creature that had straw for brains when she dodged an incoming pitchfork. "Eek!"
It was then the unthinkable happened. Though Mafuyu cleanly dodged the potentially painful attack, the plastic bag full of food she bought from the convenience store wasn't so lucky. Her eyes widened as the pitchfork pierced through the bag and its contents, which spilled onto the soil below her. This was... horrible. She became quiet as she stared down at the remnants of what she was planning to eat later that night.
"Oi... That was supposed to be my dinner, y'know," she mumbled in a low voice as she trembled. "I used most of my money buying that food, and now I can't even salvage anything of it. I was really hungry. Fo' real."
Her fist suddenly flew forward and blew the offending scarecrow's head off its body. As it fell to the ground, she cracked her knuckles, ready to retaliate against the rest of them. It was now quite obvious that her shaking was not from fear, but from uncontrollable anger. She raises her head and sends a piercing glare along with an equally menacing snarl at her assailants.
"I'LL BEAT YA INTO OATMEAL, YOU BASTAAAAARDS!!"
And with that, she ran into the herd with a hotblooded battle cry.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Honestly, I have no idea. I just felt like it.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Playercest, as always. Go write a fanfic if you're gonna do that.
[Any questions?] idk lol
