"I was gonna riff on the whole Winter Soldier thing with Trevor, in that he'd been brainwashed by ... I can't remember the guy's name... Eric Close's character. Brainwashed to basically infiltrate HQ and blow it up, preferably with the Avengers inside. Some of Trevor is still there, though, that's why Donna has enough time to get the others out and why Mike has time to actually try and talk down Trevor. It's all emotional and stuff, Trevor is begging Mike to just leave because he can't hold back much longer, Mike is begging Trevor not to do it, he doesn't want him to die, tears tears tears, and then Harvey comes in and tries to drag Mike out of there because he doesn't care if Trevor dies so long as Mike doesn't. In the end, he wraps his arms around Mike, and flies upward (he's in the Iron Man suit, obviously), busting through the ceilings and whatnot out into the daylight as Trevor blows the place, apologizing to Mike right before Mike flies away, struggling with Harvey of course because he still doesn't want to leave Trevor.
They're outside now, and Mike is pissed and Harvey is about to check on him, ask him if he's alright from the ceiling crash landing only just as he's about to help Mike up he gets blasted with a repulsor blast. Basically bad guy has been doing enough collecting to make versions of everyone, essentially. Iron Man tech, a Hulk like creature, I think he was even going to have some sort of super soldier something put into himself to make himself stronger, but I don't really know about that. And there was gonna be a huge fight, with all the Avengers having to fight different versions of themselves, and the Avengers were gonna win and everyone was gonna be happy and sexy times were gonna ensue.
