My birthday was on Friday. it was sweet (that's may 27th, in case you forgot. hehe). to all of you who sent me instant messages, THANKS!!! it was really sweet, i appreciated. my sister tried to call me like, 3 times or something, but never got through. i have to try to find a calling card and call her or something. i dunno. she's in morocco in the boonies, but she has a cell phone somehow, and somehow it works to call people. so maybe i'll figure out a way to call her. anyway, the reason she couldn't get ahold of me was because heather had a SUPER DUPER birthday surprise waiting for me... in fact, it was an hour long massage at a spa in the city. what a WONDERFUL surprise, i couldn't have dreamed of better. we got to this spa and were just taken care of for almost 2 hours... cuz they were late w/ the room that we needed. ahh what a shame... lol. the massage was amazing, i highly recommend it to all of you. i feel wonderful and it's like two days later. sweet.
before the massage, heath took me to the natural history museum for a butterfly exhibit. there was this room with tons of plants (it was a greenhouse, and SUPER hot) and all these butterflies just flying around you and landing on you and everything. it was so wonderful! one landed on heather's pants, and then on her hand. one landed on my hand for a second too! it was pretty cool. i took a bunch of pictures. :) yay, what fun!
after the massage, we went to TGIFriday's on 5th ave. i knew there was one there, and by now we were sooo hungry, so it hit the spot. i could finally get one of those HUMONGO drinks, you know? that are all like neon yellow and stuff? i got a margarita, and heath got an electric blue lemonade. that was very fun and yummy. but stupid new york, they didn't card me. blah. the first time i was carded for drinks was a liquor store, of course they're gonna card in a liquor store. i think the lady thought my ID was fake, she looked at it so long, and the date was a day ago, and it was from michigan. i'm sure no one from michigan has ever been in that liquor store, lol, but i wanted to buy a drink and get carded. lol. so i did. it was fun.
i'm finally freee!!!!! yay!! love being 21! woooo.
you know what's funny? i applied for a job today at michael's, in west islip. i want to get a job on the weekends and they're hiring. i think it will be funny if i come to heather's on the weekends and have a job... we'll see if i do. silly, hehe.
