(no subject)
Once again, I'm avoiding my homework so I decided to update! HOORAY!
This morning on the way to school Tiffany called Tara and asked if we could give her and Matt a ride (Matt's car is broken), and of course Tara said yes. Well, Matt and Tiffany are usually sort of late getting ready and this morning they were later than usual. Around 7:55 Tara, Tiff, and I were waiting for Matt in Tara's car. After a few minutes of silence we noticed the car was shaking and Tara looked at her gas gauge thing and it was EMPTY. Completely empty. The dial was as far left as it could possibly be. Well right when we noticed it, the car just cut off. About that time Matt comes strolling out and see's that the car just cut off. So everyone is in a bad mood because we were already late. Well, unfortunately there was no transportation to school, so we were all just sitting around the car with no clue what to do. Meanwhile, we hear a rustling in the woods. Guess who had come to visit? AUNT FLO. No I'm not kidding. That is her name Florence. Aunt Flo (she's like, 80-years-old)! Well she was spying on us and trying to see what we were doing. It was pretty funny, actually.
Since it was about 30 deg...Ehh Tara just came over! So she'll help me remember what happened. Anyways, it was about 30 degrees outside so we decided to go in, instead of freezing. Well, Tiffany and I had some cereal and we were all sitting around, enjoying ourselves when the we heard a knocking at the door! AUNT FLO WAS BACK TO VISIT! She had brought some lawnmower gas to put in Tara's car. Well, we filled that up (it didn't seen the gas gauge past E, but that's all we had) and drove off to the pantry, our adventure coming to a close. We arrived at school around 8:40, and all was well. (an excused absense). Ta-daaaa!
