My Arm Slave? I want to get him moved to my home so I can do some work. I doubt I'll get him running again, but I want to strip out a few more systems and see if I implement them elsewhere.

So you want Friday disassembled in parts, and then put back together again?
... yeesh, Melissa. That'd be some tough work, with all the fine wiring going on... it might be more than I can do. I'd be able to get it right visually, but...
I think Ed might have to do this one. He can take a book charred into ash and crumbled and put it back the way it was supposed to be without ever reading it. He can do a whole library at once, even.
I might be able to do a book I've read before, but even then there will probably be mistakes.
Ed's automail has fine wiring and he can manipulate that just fine.
... hmn. I can help with the larger, less complicated parts, though.

Disassembled or at least put in a movable form. We have cranes to move our units around back on base, but I'm not going to find that here. It's a long way to move anyway and I don't want to attract too much attention either.

We're all required to go through military training. Most of us, if not all, were scouted out from training camps.
But there's two branches; the Primary Response Team and the Special Response Team. Within the PRT, there are six different areas and every soldier serves a few terms in each team to learn to different skills and methods. However, they don't use AS units.
Almost all the members of the SRT are Arm Slave pilots on top of our specialties. One of my subordinates is a sniper. I myself specialize in electronic warfare.

Do you still go by the ranking system? Private, Lieutenant, Major, Colonel, General, and the others? Out of complete curiousity, what's your rank?
So you know electronics...? With things as advanced as Friday in your world, that must mean you've got quite the impressive skillset, Melissa. That's amazing. I'll bet you've got the network in the palm of your hand now, too.

We do. And I'm a Second Lieutenant.
This network was pretty easy to get a hang of working around and the PCDs too, but I've mostly been playing around. Still have a few things I need to crack into.

I figured you'd be up there. I have a few friends back home who are about that rank. Central Command was a great place to be.

Heads up? Ed's a Major. But only because he's a State Alchemist. Don't let him brag about it. [Soft laugh.]

I wonder if it's possible to get past filters... I know enough about electronics to know how to transmute a radio and a receiver and fix some minor things without alchemy, but that's about it.

Ed joined the military when he was twelve to fund our research. He was a brilliant alchemist, so they accepted him. They only needed one of us. There was no getting me to leave his side though, even if I'm technically a civilian.

... I'm bad for saying this, but I'd love to watch you say that where he can hear you.

Looks like I'm going to have to work on my own filters. Even Asuna and Yachiru got past one of mine earlier.

12 years old? Damn. I take it that wasn't usually normal.

Tell you what, I'll give you a copy of the program I have. Took a bit of the coding from Bluey and worked my own magic and you have something no one is getting through unless you want them to.
Anything you'd like, Melissa, if it's within our power, we'll make it happen.

The cloaking system, for example.

... cranes? Just how big is Friday?

If Friday were up and running, you wouldn't have anything to worry about from anyone here, just about!

I mean I know you have, I've seen you in action, but is everyone like that?

You're kidding me. I'm outranked by a shrimp?

Been working with that and some of them no amount of work will get you past them, encryption is that good. Others? Oh yeah, it's a cakewalk.
