Nov. 29, 1921 - Nove 29, 2005.
Sgt. Maj. Robert E. Stinson Sr., retired, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday. He was 84. He aws a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Normandy invasion of WWII and a veteran of the Korean War. He was an inductee into the Madison County Hall of Hero's. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Stinson; son, David Stinson; and granddaughter, Tiffany Stinson. He is survived by his wife, Augusta Stinson; seven children, Barbara Moudy, Kathy Wallave, Robert E. "Skip" Stinson Jr., Greg Stinson, James Stinson, Jami olt, and Denice Coggins; three step-children; 21 grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at noon on Friday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Max Stinson officiating.
Entombment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens with military honors.

Very old, but I just got a copy of my grandfather's obituary. He was one amazing guy, yanno? It's not even sad to think of him anymore. I just look back on everything he's accomplished, and I'm so proud ever to have known him, much less be related by blood. Rockin', guys. Rockin'.
