rambling

Probably too late to comment on my last post, but about my view. My last apartments in Asia had shitty views/ locations. In Korea, I could see the street and a fire station where the guys had this rooftop break area.. When they started staring a couple times I freaked out and closed my window more. Also, the fumes from the mechanic below were surely not good for my health on top of the yellow dust. Anyway, I want to visit Korea again despite all this.

Then, in my Leopalace I was too close to the street. I couldn't freely leave my window open because I was annoyed by people looking at me while I was hanging my laundry and couldn't just sit and stare outside. I had a nice view of a palm tree and some person's garden though.

Here at the Danchi my view outside of my living room is mainly of the apartment block across from me. It blocks most of Tokyo. I can see the northern part of it. I can see the fireworks if I look across. The best view though is from outside my front door. I have a beautiful view of the (I think) Chichibu mountain range. It is really amazing to look at the sunset or at distant storms. Probably in a typhoon though it wouldn't be a good idea :P

I feel like I am finally getting used to living alone though. The state of my apartment in the past was really quite bad though not as bad as the girl that lived next door in Korea. I ended up getting ants because I didn't vaccuum/ clean enough.. now I don't get bugs at least. LOL. But the girl next to me.. she had dirty clothes everywhere.. even on the stove O_O and we found a pizza box under her bed under all the shit. I think she ended up ditching her apartment in a mess too and went back to the US. Anyway really though, I used to hate washing dishes and laundry every day but now its a habit, FINALLY.

I realize this is really mundane and boring, sorry. lol
