This is the only Meme I've seen in a long time worth doing... so here goes:
You know how sometimes people on your friendslist post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

NAME: Jordan (I don't really have any lasting nicknames.. wah waaah)
AGE: 23 (24 in only a couple months... whoa)
LOCATION: Still living in Kalamazoo, currently in my second year of single living in a great apartment in the Stuart neighborhood.
OCCUPATION: Business Development Manager at Title-Check LLC. Basically I come up with workflow processes and do quality control on all the data entry done at my company. It's a job I was promoted to earlier this year and I'm quite happy to actually have a decent one. I'm going on my 6 year anniversary of working at TC this January (even bigger whoa).
PARTNER: Single single single. Although, I meet people here and there who are interesting, but nothing is brewing at the moment (maybe ;) )
KIDS: Hah
PARENTS: My mom moved back to Kalamazoo and has a cute house in the Winchell neighborhood. She has two new kitties who are neurotic, but really nice when they get over their fear of anything that moves or makes noise. My dad is currently living in Canberra, Australia with my stepmom, living the Australian dream.
SIBLINGS: My sister is still in Chicago workin' it up as an art director for a fancy schmancy ad agency. Her husband is finishing up his juris doctorate at De Paw and plans on changing the world.
PETS: Lula and Radish are givin me steady love and headbumps, as they are the best kitties ever. Radish has gotten friendlier and still has no idea that he is a 15lb fatass. Lucy, or schmewcy as we call her, is our work kitty who keeps us all entertained and distracted from actually doing work. She's adorable when she's not trying to eat you alive.
3-5 THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE:
1. I started working out! I joined a gym about 2.5 months ago and even got a personal trainer. I'm there about 6 days a week, and the results are really starting to show (I've gained about 12 lbs in muscle already). I'm quite addicted to it, and I am in the best shape of my life! I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
2. I decided that I am going to do a lot of traveling in 2011, after I turn 25. I should be debt-free at that time, and I want to go out and experience as much as possible before I get tied down with any major career moves. I want to see as many continents and countries as possible on as little budget as I can (this mean backpacking, hosteling, etc.). Of course I plan bringing my video camera and hopefully by then I will have thought of a twist to the whole journey that could potentially turn it into a documentary.
3. I'm thinking of starting a freelance video production/photography sort of venture. I'm thinking of putting together some short documentaries on local businesses/organizations for fun as a way to get started. Also, if you need cheap headshots/portraits... let me know :)
4. I can't really think of anything else to write about at the moment. But I am doing well, I'm decently happy, and I look forward to the future bringing many new and exciting things. Although staying in Kalamazoo was not at the top of my list, it's definitely a solid path towards exciting things in the future.
CLOSE FRIENDS: I'm thrilled to have Sandy back in town, and Matt is quite a good workout buddy. There are quite a few people that have grown apart from me, but I miss you guys! <3
