Ah! Hehehe. XD Yeah... It's mostly fanlistings and wikis now. I agree with what you said about character shrines having their own personal touch. Wikis are great sources of information but I liked how there would be a few really good, in-depth character shrines that all presented the information in different ways, sometimes with different topics. It was nice! You had a bit of competition but it was all friendly and it was nice to know there's other people who loved the character or series just as much as you. Plus, it was nice seeing the different layouts updated regularly. ^^

Fanlistings... I mostly hate them now. I like the concept of having a list of fans, but they switch between owners so often now that it's almost pointless to even bother keeping up with it. The idea of having a list of fans is great but... when you don't have a purpose for it, what good is it? Saying "I'm a fan of [character]!" is awesome, but when I can't connect with the other fans, it becomes completely moot.

Plus, it's ridiculous that they force you to add an update that says "No new members" if there hasn't been any for 2 months, else you get kicked. -_- It's like... in the case where it says "0 pending members", they should be able to put 1 and 1 together. ¬_¬ It's just so incredibly pretentious and inane.

....yet I still keep updating my own. *sigh* ._.
