My credit card expired in May 2009, and having never really owned a card that's expired before, I was told by all my friends that the credit card company would just automatically send me a new one. So by the time May was over, I was still left without a replacement. >_>
After poking around on my online account, it turns out that when I moved last year, I didn't update my address. I was pretty sure I did but I guess I just have gotten an error or the form didn't go through completely or something. So the replacement was sent to my old address, great. Anyway, after procrastinating for a couple days, I finally got around to giving the company a call today to try to clear up the mess.
The lady was very friendly and very helpful. I explained the entire problem to her and after putting me on hold for a bit, she told me that the new card would be sent in 7-10 business days. I just kind of paused for a second and then said, "...But I don't think I gave you my new address."
*utter facepalm* -_-;;
So she took my new address down and then that was that. o_O Seriously though, after telling you my card got sent to my old address, and saying I have a new address multiple times, you'd think she'd remember something that important... >_>;
