(no subject)
So, temperatures have been record-high this weekend. There was all sorts of crazy weather on Sunday (which I know nothing about first-hand, being too involved in WoW... >_>), like tornados touching down in the city and stuff. Very strange. XD This is the first time I've ever really been truely concerned about how the weather is being changed by our warming climate. It's scary shit.
On a related note, my apartment comes with an A/C unit but it's currently not really working all that well. A cool (not cold), faint breeze comes wafting out of the air vents. It's not nearly enough of a current to turn even the area around the unit cool, let alone my large apartment. :P So it might as well be turned off. I was going to file a maintenance report after tidying up my apartment but it turns out that technicians are coming in to all the apartments on my floor Friday to change the filter. I'm hoping that'll actually do something or maybe they'll notice how hot my place is even with the thing on full blast, and fix it. >_> If not, I'll just have to file a maintenance report.
I also managed to get my apartment cleaned up quite a bit. :D There's still a little bit of clutter on the floor, but it's mostly garbage that I just need to throw out. There's still a pile of crap in the corner that I really need to go through but so far, so good. I think it'll all be ready by Friday, when the people come in. It just feels nice to have a tidy place again. ^^
Anyway, time to go to work. :P Whee~
