Haha, tis funny to hear you came back to Tbay and ended up buying yer clothes here. xD! But I'm glad you were able to find pants that all fit! =D
I get what you mean by liking to shop where its not quite as busy. But thinking back on when I went around shopping in Toronto...I guess the busyness and crowds don't really affect me as much. xD;; I actually really enjoyed walking around the malls (you have no idea how much... xD;;;). lol! I guess its just because since there's so many ppl...no one is paying attention to me and what I'm doing so I just feel more comfortable doing whatever I want and going at whatever pace I want. I even get energy to walk around when there's so many ppl. xD;;
But yeh...totally feel you on the frustration that is clothes shopping. Nothing ever seems to fit right. -_-; If it fits one way, it doesn't fit another. I always end up having to get something that I have to tailor myself. Or I don't get anything and just end up in a horrible mood. But for me...the worst thing to shop for is shoes. Size 11-12 womens is hard enough to find and finding something that actually LOOKS good is near impossible. rofl! Making yer own tailored clothes is easier than making yer own shoes. haha! I wish I could tho. o_O;
Wonder why its so hard to find back issues of comics in Toronto. o.o; I bet there are places....but gotta find them. Or they're in completely out of the way places like that Cyber City Comics. >>; Figures tho eh?
The premise of Pretty Face sounds amusing! xD I should check it out. lol.
Oh that reminds me, what be yer address again? Me gonna send yew something. o.o; Funny that I forget yer addy but if I found myself in Toronto I could easily find my way back to yer place. >>; rofl.
LOL @ yew buying the webkinz. xD;; I haven't been on there for awhile. o.o; I ended up getting quite a few during a 50% off sale of them during xmas. lol! Btw...what happened to my koala? DDDX Haha! Kidding. ;D
Yeah, it is weird to want to go clothes shopping in Thunder Bay instead of Toronto. XD I usually just get really annoyed when I'm in a large crowd because people are so stupid... I like to get where I'm going but there's always people in the way. x_X I'm so impatient. XD I wish I could feel as comfortable as you... people watching is actually pretty fun. XD
The sizes I want are usually the most popular ones, so they go really fast. It's even worse down here since there's so many more people. It might look like there's a lot of skinny twigs hanging around but you can tell it's not the case when you look at the sizes left in stores. It's always the smalls and super smalls that are left over. Even in the underwear stores. XD I wish they'd just stock more of the sizes that actually fit people. x_x
There probably are a couple of really good places to get back issues here. I remember at the comic/anime/sci-fi/horror convention last year, there were LOTS of stores set up that had nothing but back issues of comics. Some of them had come in from outside of Toronto, but a few of them must have been from here. I guess it just depends on how desperate I am. XD I'd rather just ship online from Hill City if it comes to that.
Oh, my address? It's:
Laura Donnelly 710 - 2360 Dundas St West Toronto, ON, M6P 4B2
I want to ask what you're sending me but I don't want to ruin the surprise. XDD I'll have to get something for you too. ♥
And I have your Koala code! I just keep forgetting to get it off the plush and bring it home with me. XD;;; I don't know why it's so addictive... I get such a kick out of some of them (like the duck... OMFG HE'S FAT). XD Oh well, at least I can get some of them at the discount warehouse price. T_T;;;
Hehe, the only time I'll get impatient while out shopping is if there's just one thing I really need to pick up and I'm pressed for time. Otherwise I just flow around. xD! But omg yes...watching ppl makes it fun for me. xD; Never realized how much I just like to observe ppl and scenes until I went to Toronto and got to just explore a bit. lol! If it was possible to have a job where I could just stand by and watch life go by....that'd be my dream job. -_-;; rofl!
Ah sizes...indeed. Its ALWAYS the size you need that everyone else needs too. >_>;; I also dun get why they don't knock it off with the small and XS.
Sometimes I don't mind just taking my time in a mall but it's pretty rare. XD I definitely have a guy mentality when it comes to shopping, unless it's for manga. Then I just kind of stare at everything and wonder WTF I should get. XD
Yeah, it's weird, isn't it? There's a lot of asians in Toronto and in Vancouver but I know they're not the target demographic for these stores... They're just catering to the super skinny girls who do nothing but worry about how thin they are, if they're wearing the latest fashions, how their make-up looks, etc. And there are a lot of those types no matter where you are in North America, even if they still aren't the majority. It pisses me off because these stores used to have normal sizes and over the last 5 years, they just slowly started catering to the skinny twats. >_> What a stupid move. I guess they're hoping that we'll all turn into them just to fit their clothes. :P
I think a ritz cracker box would fit into my mail box. XD As long as there wasn't a whole lot of packaging around it, I think they could fit it in. If it does go to the post office, it's not a big deal. :D I usually go out on the weekend and use a day pass... so I try to use those days to pick up parcels from the post office. :3 Go efficiency!
Oh and if you think the raccoon is soft, check out the duck. It's the softest of them all, I think. And he's freaking hilarious because he's so freaking dumpy. XD I don't know if he's supposed to be seasonal or not (I don't think so but I heard someone in the office mention it) so if you can pick one up sometime, do it. Better safe than sorry. XD
