Me buy stuff.
Okay, so the other day I splurged a bit (GASP DIRTY NO) and bought some anime stuff online. :D
First of all, I don't know how many of you know that Geneon pulled out of the North American market. I was in shock when I found out about it a couple weeks ago. They stopped producing DVDs back at the end of September 2007, so I thought it'd be a good time to buy up all the Fushigi Yuugi DVDs that I didn't already have. I ended up having to get the DVDs from 3 separate sources. o_O; Volume 7 was nearly impossible to find but I lucked out in the end.
I also bought volumes 7 and 8 of the Slayers novels... I was originally going to just get them from a local bookstore but they don't have it listed on their site at all. I figured I'd just be safe and order them from Amazon.ca with one of the FY DVDs I was getting. I'm pretty pumped to read them. :3
I was just going to leave it at that, but I ended up finding the Slayers movie and OVA box sets from an eBay seller for REALLY cheap. The movie box usually goes for around $50 and they were selling it for $32. :3 The OVA box usually goes for $30 and they had it for $12. X3 So lucky! So I really couldn't control myself and I just ordered those too. >_> I mean, when will I ever find them for that cheap again? I HAVE MY REASONS KTHX.
