Katamari~ <3
Seeing as today was the last day I had to work full-time for Murray, I thought I deserved a little something and I ended up buying the fifth Slayers novel (completely by surprise as it's not supposed to be out for two more weeks) and Katamari Demacy for the PS2. XD I had heard about the game and thought it looked neat... and I saw a copy of it in EB when I was in there on Monday. I considered it since it was cheap but didn't really bother getting it but just yesterday, Zee (allsunday) tells me she's completely addicted to it. XD; I mean, if Zee is addicted to a video game, it's gotta be good, right? :D So I went out and bought it today!
Holy crap, talk about a game being on crack. XD It kind of reminds me of Um-Jammer Lammy in its weirdness... Zee said it was on par with Tetris in terms of originality and I gotta say that I agree with her. It's so fun! The King of Cosmos gets drunk and destroys all the stars, how could this not be a good game? I've only made three stars so far but I'm finding it to be a blast. I'm glad that I bought it, since I don't have any two-player games for the PS2 yet, aside from DDR.. and I can't even use DDR right now. x_x
I think my favourite part was seeing the tutorial on things you have to watch out for... Apparently you have to plow over people before picking them up. XD Hehe. It's a little difficult to control when you're in a hurry but it's very intuitive and I'm getting used to it pretty fast. I'd definately recommend it, from the amount I've played so far. :D I need to get Steve to play this... I think he'd have a blast with it. X3
