Manga update!
Just got a scanlation of the gaiden included with Book in Figure Blue. X3 It's Roy-centric, which makes for a very happy Tasuki! I ♥ teh Roy. I like how it delved more into his past... what this gaiden showed is so much better than the shit that was in the anime. -_-; I really think that the anime ruined his character... he does have angst, but Roy isn't the type to let it get in the way of his career or life in general. This gaiden does a really good job of showing how Roy is an incredibly strong person emotion-wise, but still has his moments of doubts/fear/regret like anyone else.
Speaking of Roy, OMGWTF to chapter 50. :0 "Roy: Oh noes~!" T'was a good chapter and there was a few panels that I want to make avatars of. XD
Oh! I also recently discovered the new series that Moriyama Daisuke is making! It's called World Embryo and it's looking pretty good so far. I read the first chapter a few weeks ago and I couldn't be sure what to think of it... Chrno Crusade hooked me on the first few pages but it took me a bit longer to figure out the feel for World Embryo. Chapter 2 kind of clearified it a bit more and I'm really liking where it's heading! I'm sure the overall feel of the entire story will be made clear in two more chapters. ^^
I'm also getting back into some old series... I'm planning on picking up the Trigun Maximum manga sometime soon; it's a damn embarassment that I haven't gotten it yet, knowing how damn obsessed I was with the series and with Wolfwood. XD I haven't kept up with the chapters since volume 11... seems as if there's enough for 13 volumes so far. o_O Crazy. I'm looking forward to getting those. I'm also kind of getting back into Shoujo Kakumei Utena. I'm not sure why, but I just have a craving to watch it. I'd buy the anime on DVD if it wasn't so expensive... o_O CPM is so far behind the times that if they continue to hold onto the license for the series, I honestly doubt they'd ever release a cheaper version of it all. :P But I'm going to start picking up the Utena manga since it's only five volumes. ^^
...Geez, so much crap, so little time and money... @_@
