Loveless: manga o' shot-tification
I started reading Loveless today on a whim. I'm on volume 2, but I'm really confused because the manga appears to jump from the middle of a fight scene to a carnival ride on a ferris wheel. But anyway. This manga is... well, I'd say questionable, but it's not like you don't come across this kind of thing as a yaoi fan on a fairly regular basis. So, are we to assume it's cool for a college guy to kiss a sixth grader, or are we supposed to be scandalized? I'm not sure which way to go, but I think if I keep reading this the manga will take a definate stand *somewhere* along the way. The whole 'people have cat ears until they lose their virginity' thing is kind of cute, but wouldn't that be really awkward? Like, you go to school one day and the 12 year old cheerleader three rows back suddenly has no ears, and *everybody* knows what went down after the pep rally, you know? Anyway....
