- Greta- plain girl-next door type, very sarcastic, in love with Jack
- Jack- all American boy with lots of dead ex-girlfriends
- Zoe- too cool and too beautiful, offbeat, attracted to Jack, taking college level forensics
Mrs. Ridgefield- Jack's mother
Jack's as of yet unnamed brother- crazy, more of a lurker than a talker
2 dead cheerleaders- our first victims, dead at the beginning of the film
2 living cheerleaders- walking, talking stereotypes
Sara Jane Schmidt- valedictorian, one of Jack's many exes. She dies too.
Helen Gates- extremely rich and sophisticated pothead. Not a stereotype.Helen Gates is perfect. She is pretty and rich and sophisticated and cultured. And she smokes so much pot, it is amazing she is still standing.
Melissa- Dead. Sophmore class rep. don't think she's actually ever onscreen
Preston- Cigar smoking, somewhat suave and sleazy VP of the Student Council. Slick hair and a suit. Total politician.
Student Council Secretary- minor, secretarial role. Bored. Much like my position at Yates and Co.
Denise Farge- local newsreporter
Runners- they run track with Jack. They are, as they say, "runners"
Potheads- they smoke pot with Helen. They are, as they say, "potheads"
