work and life has been generally busy and i've been very remiss in writing here. therefore, i am going to write a Sisko update-assuming i get to finish it before this afternoon (its currently 7:19).
Praise the Dog Gods for obedience classes. they are also almost over. we don't meet this week, but the last class is the week after. even though Sisko wasn't horribly unruly when we got him, his size and speed make it important that i have some control over him.. especially since he! (and we) have discovered that he could jump the fence. now he's on tie-out or if we are also in the yard he gets a very long lead so we can catch him easier.
he is a very pretty dog, he's got a nice little prance when he walks. i would like to enhance that with keeping his coat well brushed, but he still has problems with the leg feathers and very much the tail.
we've been very good dog owners with Sisko. he gets walked every day. m-f he gets 1 mile before we leave with
thebcman and then 1.5 or so with me in the evening. two things have happened--we have lost weight, and we have learned that Eudora is very small-1 mile wide and about 1.5 long between the river and k-10.
i spend quite a bit of time training the urthling to not tease Sisko or that she doesn't need to yell NO! every time he looks at her. they are learning how to live with each other.
the family is getting up so i must end this now. i'll try to get some dog pics uploaded later.
