Protect women's reproductive health. That means protect access to birth control pills, IUDs, Plan B and abortions, what ever form works best for the individual woman. A woman's right to current, accurate health information and care trumps a doctor's or pharmacists right to force their religious beliefs on the woman patient. If a pharmacist does not believe in Plan B, they should put aside their personal beliefs and fill the prescription. A doctor's job is to insure the health of his or her patient, not push his or her moral beliefs on said patient. If a doctor doesn't agree with the methods used to ensure a woman's reproductive health, they should leave that field so that others can step up and perform the procedures needed to ensure a woman's health.
I do not approve of President Bush's attempts to push his ideology on to me, my daughter or any other woman. All women have the right to current, accurate health information and access to current and safe procedures.
Sincerely,
