here's my heart, i'll let you break it.
things have calmed down for a few minutes, giving me a couple meager seconds to update.
three amazing things happened within the course of a week, about one week ago:
1. George W. Bush was re elected president. I am proud to say my momma took the right path and voted for him. My dad didn't vote. I'm still mad at him for it. But, it doesn't matter that this state is a shitty place and Kerry won. Because a certain wonderful man still won.
2. I got a 4.03 gpa for the first marking period. Um, all i have to say is that i wish i had waited all of two weeks to send in my college applications to that this glorious number could have been sent in the transcript.
3. I. MET. YELLOWCARD. not only did the band play at my school, and i might mention i was front row, centered in front of ryan, but i got a backstage pass along with 5 other seniors to meet the band. I hugged Sean *the violen player* and I'm acting like a total groupie but I don't care. I shook all of their hands and got to talk to them. It was effing amazing. I have a tshirt signed by all of them too. yay. It was so amazing when the sung "believe". if you dont know, the chorus goes "everything is gonna be alright, be strong believe". In a school as small as mine, having your 56 classmates surrounding you and screaming that line over and over again, it's so exhilirating. It really makes you believe in yourself, in your friends, in the next year, in your future.
Well that concludes my rant of how wonderful life is. I only have one day of school *tomorrow* this week. Today I had to go to the doctor's and wed-fri the seniors have off because half the class is going on a bonding experience known at Sacred Heart as "Kairos". I go with the second half in January. I have a job interview tomorrow at Spencer's. What a fun place to work. My first choice was a bookstore but they aren't hiring. I was also considering a waitressing job, because you instantly get paid in tips, but most restaurants around here serve alcohol and therefor require that you be 18 to serve.
Halo2 came out. This means that my boyfriend is busy for a few weeks. :P I'm going to his halo party this weekend even though i suck and i hate that game. Ugh, compromising is a bitch haha.
MMMMMMM that's about it. I should find out within this month if i got into my first choice college. I'm not telling you what it is. St. Joe's is my backup and WCU is my back up back up back up. I hate WCU. bah humbug.
John comes home from BC in a week for thanksgiving. We are having a mondo LOTR party, in which we will watch all three, back to back, and the extended editions at that. It should take close to 12 hours. Oh I heart Gandalf.
I need a good quote for my yearbook page. We get a big blown up picture of us, our name, and a quote on a page. Help a sista out.
