I finally got my May calender put up. I also continued adding NPCs from the GameMastery Guide to my encounter lists. I had started putting the tables together then I realized I had forgotten the NPCs. So far it looks like I'll just have to redo the CR 1 and CR 2 tables, which is as far as I got. I also did a little more work on the entry for Tatidär for my campaign wiki. I also finished "binge watching" the 2nd season of The Flash. Other than that I didn't do much today. I did text the four players in my group and asked them what entries they'd like to see in the wiki. Only got one response, and that was "nothing comes to mind."
Yesterday I got more done. Yesterday is when i started adding the NPCs to my encounter lists. Got quite a few done. I also finished all the magic-user spells from TCNGTUCK, and all but the two 9th level magic-user spells from TCNGTA. One of the spells I'm not sure how I'll work it, because it's essentially the magical equivalent of a small nuclear weapon. The spell has a vast area of effect and does an incredible amount of damage. It compensates with a very lengthy casting time, and requiring some very esoteric (hard to get) material components. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it as a spell or redo it as a ritual. I'm kinda leaning towards the latter, but I want to review the rules for rituals first. If I can remember which book they're in. I think it's Ultimate Magic, but it might be a different book.
I'm kinda excited because tomorrow my stuff from Amazon should start arriving. I'm looking forward to getting Square Foot Gardening, which I think will be the first to arrive. Either that or Monster Codex. Either one will make me happy.
Charlotte seems to have finished mending. Still going to wait a couple more days before taking her outside, but she was well enough to play with the new laser pointer I got her. I love my little kitten. However, she's starting to get naughty again. She'll probably starting trying to bolt outside any time the doors open soon. I need to be ready.
Still no word about when I'll be going back to work. I doubt the Special Collections is open yet anyway. It may not open until fall. Which means I'll probably try to find a temporary job for the summer. Don't know what yet. Might try working for Uber or Door Dash or something. I might see if I can get a job delivering for Domino's, but I'd rather something where I can set my own schedule.
Even though things are opening up in Texas (despite the predictions of doom from the useful idiots) it'll probably still be a while before we can game at Mad Hatter's. So I doubt we'll be gaming again before June. I won't be running again before August, when Tech opens up. In fact I should check when classes start so I can let Hatter know when we'll need the room.
