Early to Bed, Not So Early to Rise

I must have been tired yesterday, though I can't imagine why. I fell asleep around 10ish, or maybe 11ish. I'm not sure. All I know is I didn't do my normal nightly "ritual". Normally before I go to sleep I stock the beverages in the fridge, check the door locks, turn on the salt lamp, and turn off the kitchen lights. Was too tired to do any of that. It came on me fast too. I was watching a video on gardening hacks, and couldn't keep my eyes open. After the video I put my tab down, took my meds, and turned over and fell asleep. I ended up waking up a little before 6am. Did go back to sleep for about an hour then woke up again when the VA called about 20 minutes ago. It seems I missed a "telephone" appointment yesterday. The weird thing is I don't see a missed call from the VA yesterday. How odd.

Otherwise yesterday was pretty nonproductive. I think I slept til about 11 or so. I don't remember. Cha has a class and I slept through most of it. Then I went out to get us lunch from Rosa's Cafe. The food was good but the ordering was less so. They don't have an app or website ordering system, and I hate using the telephone to call, so I ordered through Grub Hub. The only problem was Cha wanted extra chips and queso, which they have, but the Grub Hub thing didn't have an option for that. They had an option to order extra quest, but not chips. So I had to order that extra when I got there. Which required driving around and getting in line again. Today Cha just wants kielbasa, which I just have to cook. Though now that I think about it I realize I don't know if she wants it broiled or pan cooked. I'll have to ask her when she gets a break.

Part of the reason I got so little done yesterday was the mouse for my laptop somehow ended up under the couch. I'm not sure how it got there. I know Monday or Tuesday I had put up my laptop to do something else planning to get back to it. Only I never did. Later I noticed my laptop sitting there sans mouse. Yesterday I decided to do some work on it, only to remember the mouse wasn't with it. It took a good twenty minutes of looking before I found it under the couch. The other part of the reason I got so little done is Cha kept asking me to do stuff, which of course cost me more time than whatever it was she actually wanted.

None the less I did get the 2nd level magic-user spells in the Net Guides to Alcohol, and the 6th level magic-user spells in TCNGTUCK, converted to Pathfinder. I also got started on the World Anvil/wiki article for the elven kingdom of Tatidär. Actually I started three articles because I started the articles for the kingdom, capital, and the ruler all at once. It's a new system I've started since the three are cross referenced to work on them simultaneously rather than one at a time. Though I need to come up with the flag or crest for Tatidär and a picture for Hayyel Aysannara, it's ruler. I'll try to do that today.

Charlotte got spayed on Tuesday. She spent most of Tuesday evening and yesterday sleeping and recovering. She's a little better today, but still weak. She tried to hop up on the bed not too long ago, but couldn't make it. She's walking around (and meowing) like an old cat on her last legs when in fact she's still basically a kitten. But she's improving, she's eating and up and about. So hopefully this will end her yowling, especially at night.

Well gonna do some work on my Pathfinder setting.
