Known World Dance Symposium will be in Seattle this summer. This is a weekend-long SCA event centered around dance classes, with balls in the evening. They don't have the full class list up yet, but my guess is that there will be enough just-post-1600 English dance that many of you would be able to jump right in, as well as Italian Renaissance, ( Read more... )

Oh my gosh! I went to one in Boston many moons ago and had such a great time. I may need to dust off my garb and go again!

Well, you could catch a red-eye after work Friday, sleep for a couple of hours, dance all day Saturday, and then fly home on Sunday . . . OK, maybe not :)
