What about pets?One a cat named Roxy who is eight years old. I refer to her as my step mother because my Dad is in love with her. My family is weird.
Education level/major? Plans to be an English and Humanities double major hopefully with an emphasis on either Medieval/Renaissance Studies or Modern European Studies and a minor in French.
Do you have any nicknames? Padfoot/ Sirius Black and Dumpy because, sadly, I am without the smallest semblance of grace.
What are the five things you can’t live without and why?
Harry Potter- because magic makes my world go round.
Reading in general- because reading is magic and, thus makes my world go round.
Patrick Wolf- because I've never loved the violin so much as when he plays it in pigeon song.
My family- Because they provide me with a means of understanding my craziness.If I didn't have my gene pool to rely I wouldn't know what was wrong with me.
Love- It's all you need.

What are your aspirations or dreams? What do you want to do with your life? I want to be a professor in English or History. I love British history and medieval history in general and I'm currently working on learning how to read Anglo- Saxon Runes. It's fascinating! No matter what I do I want my life to be filled with learning.

What’s the story behind your username? I am such a nerd. I joined lj to join a Regency Era RPG game and this was my name. I've always like the name Ursula even though everybody else associates it with a rotund octo-human.
If the zombie apocalypse was upon us, what would you do to prepare? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! I'd probably kill myself.
What kind of mischief did you get into as a kid? Define "kid". Just kidding um I got two days at the quite table for spitting on a kid. I was asked to play the Littlest Angel in my school's Christmas pageant while my cousin was asked to be Mary. So I framed her for stealing my snack. I have a nasty habit of taking and rearranging people's lawn ornaments. I once pilfered all of the flags from the country club golf course. Other than that I've kept my nose pretty clean.
If you could have any job for a day, what would you want to be? An archeologist.
If you were to have one song playing in your head for the rest of your life, what song would it be? It's a toss up between the Magic Postion by Patrick Wolf and Transistor Radio by Cloud cult
Where is your favorite vacation destination? Why?
San Fransisco. I love the climate and the sights around the city. It also has fantastic National Parks. My aunt lives out there and we stayed at her house this fall to help her son and his girlfriend elope without gran ever finding out. All we did was eat Indian food, and watch cricket in the park all day. Even the mild case of Ecoli I contracted on my last visit couldn't ruin it for me.
Tell us about one or more of your secret fantasies and/or ambitions: To get married and have kids. I know that's a pretty average secret for most people but I've built up this image of myself as being sort of "anti-conventional family". I am finding out that I don't want to go through life alone.
What do you think is the single most important event in history and why? The invention of the printing press by Gutenburg. I love books more than I love people in many instances and can't imagine how the world would be different with out mass production of the written word.
