Intro Post
Okay so this is me. My name is Clara Wade (don't let the username fool you) and I live in Hastings Minnesota. There is literally zilch to do here so my friends and I form paranormal investigation/adventure organizations (werewolf hunting next week). I am the worst at info posts and I apologize profusely for this one.
I work in a used bookstore which is pretty cool even though it is way less romantic than it sounds. I've been writing my whole life, my first book being about a female obstetrician followed by my opus, a series of plays set on the Titanic (only joking). I was recently published on thewritething.org, an online literary magazine. My story is called Wax Wings if you have any desire to read it.
My favorite books include, The Bell Jar, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Green Grass Running Water, Bastard Out of Carolina, Anything Jane Austin, The Fall of the House of Usher, Anything of Billy Collins's, and Good Omens.
I think this community is a great incentive to get the creative impulses surging and I hope that I can get some feedback on my writing.
