You're right that Christmas day is the first day of Christmas, but you make the assumption that Christmas day is always the 25th of December. But the Orthodox celebrate it on the 7th of January. And as for the UnOrthodox ... well, Ursula has always been unorthodox.
Well, actually, it turns out I'm right. Orthodox churches also celebrate Christmas on Dec. 25th, but they're using the Julian Calendar, not the Gregorian one.
But wait! The twelve days of Christmas begin *after* Christmas. Do we get another set?
