They make it so hard to get out of bed when they're all curled up cute like that - my boys do it on purpose to make me stay in bed, I'm sure. "Come cuddle with us, mum! See how adorable and fuzzy we are!"

Also, "made primarily of muscle and entitlement" is a wonderful description of a big, boofy cat. I have one of those, although it's less "entitlement" and more "is a giant, heavy woobie".

It's getting to be that time of year. It snuck up on me. I was thinking about Halloween costumes and pumpkin carving and suddenly I found myself listening to Bing Crosby singing "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" just the other day. I watched the Grinch Halloween special to rewire my brain back to Halloween mode. Might have to try again with The Nightmare Before Christmas. Hm, I sense a theme here...

When I took my dogs for a walk yesterday, I noticed that someone up the street already had a fully decorated Christmas tree in their front window.
