Gen fans can be ridiculously narrow-minded and as zealous as people trying to convert you to a religion when they are anti-slash.

My favorite lines from Ion deal with hypocrisy. I will write that up and send the gist of the play's plot to my page soon, Spencer.

Euripides is my favorite of the classic Greek playwrights. This is the only thing I share with one of my historical Real Life hero Alexander The Great. Euripides was Alexander's favorite playwright too.

I think Ion should be taught in schools because kids from the past several generations (especially) can relate to it since Ion came from a broken home too. So many kids come from homes effected by divorce and remarriage blending half-siblings and step-siblings together. I related to it immediately when I first read the play when I was 7 years old. Because all of my siblings are related to me by only one parent.

The message about hypocrisy relates as much to religion as it does to human behavior in general. Euripides can be very layered in the types of messages he conveys without getting preachy or ponderous, IMO.

I am glad you enjoy my posts, Spencer. Thanks for letting me know this.
