Things and other things

This is probably a bad idea, writing a blog entry at midnight, when I should rightly be asleep, but hell, who cares,
you know I'm gonna regret this in the morning when I sleep in, but what are you gonna do, eh?

I sometimes think that keeping a public diary on the internet is a bad idea, until I remember that, frankly, no one wants to try and track me down on HERE.
No one I know has a Livejournal that I know of, and I quite like that, to be honest. It leaves me with a satisfactory sense of anonymity somehow, that I really don't mind having.

Went to see Prince Caspian on Friday, it was RATHER GOOD if I'm honest, although I am biased, as one of the major reasons for going to see it was Peter's face, and another was his body!  ;)

Eye candy aside, I thought it was an okay film, although I didn't see the need to add in some sort of romance between Susan and Caspian,
In the book, Prince Caspian is described as prepubescent-not a good look there, Susan, not a good look there at all...

And I couldn't help feeling that it sort of went against the whole fundamental moral Christan metaphor of the series, to have her fall in love like that, especially as at the end she's not allowed back into Narnia because of her love of "nylons, lipstick and invitations."
Someone had left a comment on a Youtube video saying how sad it was that if they filmed the last book in the series, that Susan wouldn't be in it, and wouldn't it be nice if they changed the ending to let her into Narnia as well.
That sort of made me sigh a little bit, because they seemed to have missed the point entirely. I think maybe its some sort of denial thing, that people have realised that what with the culture we live in now, no one really has a chance of getting into Narnia...

School is..okay I suppose,
I haven't got behind on any work yet, which is a GOOD START I think, however a good start that may have been better appearing last October...
Never mind, what's done is done.

The only thing I will say is that I have moved History groups from my lovely group, who now have Mr Short and Mr Everett, to a HORRIBLE set, with Mrs Mills (who is actually lovely) and Mr Little (I'm not a big fan of Mr Little-I think he is an arse).

And worse, Guy and Johnny seem to have made it their mission in life to make Freddy's life a misery, while the rest of the class does nothing. It actually makes me quite angry! (Although I am being a hypocrite, as I also do nothing...)

In other news, Lord Mayor's Procession and Back To The 80's on Saturday, good times all round!

Hopefully it will make a change from last Friday night, which was actually one of the worst nights of my life for some time.
We ended up sitting half the night on a bench outside Topshop and the other half sitting in the bus station, with Jessi being all weird and weepy, after she didn't get served in one pub and then refused to try at any others. And then I was ill on Saturday. Bad times.

Ranty ranty rant rant.....

Finally, I am now bloated, as a consequence of my body craving water from its dinner of Marmite and cheese toasties, Vegemite on toast and crisps...
Dear God I'm STILL thirsty...

prince caspian, history, marmite
