Writer's Block: It's Hard to Describe
Everything. I'm not very good with words. I think I've hidden behind music to describe emotions, situations, people, etc. I don't know if I'm just not particuarly bright, but I really do believe that most things that are exquisitely special to me cannot be accurately described with words. With only 26 letters, sometimes I feel things are limited that way. I'm sure you could say the same with notes, there are only 12 of them, but a word can't quite be manipulated the way one note can, and words have language barriers and vocabulary limits. If you have a decent set of ears, music will make sense to you in some way. Not always like everyone else. It will never be exactly the same from person to person. But it will be understood and emotions will be evoked in a way that most words could only dream of.
