Life is good. School is double-dutch-done. I'm working on really interesting things at my internship. There are tomatoes and squash and peas in the garden (well, the plants, anyway) and the little Carolina jasmine in the front yard is slowly winding its way up towards the sun

OMG you would have totally just lost your shi*t right now. A guy in our Indian Law class just asked the big SO WHAT question - basically, why do we care about tribes, what do they want, why should we care, &c. Like, whoa. He just said something about the benefits of "crushing another culture." Another guy, who's actually an undergrad, piggybacked onto his comments to note that he doesn't believe in the welfare state and these people should just become more self-sufficient.

Funny story- same here. It's been awful this week. What's the point of sewing up cute summer skirts willy-nilly if it's too damn cold to wear them?
