Paul's funeral was today. What I will take away from it, more than anything else is part of the eulogy that was spoken. More than the location, Gloucester MA; more than the church (beautiful and filled with people). Tracy stood there and talked about Paul (and I hope I can get the quote right because it really was deep) She said that Tyrus (another housemate and friend) told her not to cry, that the ones who should be crying were the ones who'd never met Paul because they would never know how great a person he really was.

It is both the saddest, and the most poignant, perhaps the most beautiful thing I think I've ever heard at a funeral and it's stuck with me all day, and all night.

RIP Paul. I knew your roommates and I knew your friends. Hell some of them were close friends to me as well. But I never met you, and I think my life is much poorer because of that.
