I have not yet seen ONE valid, logical reason to have voted YES on prop 8.
People voted for prop 8 based on religion. There is not a single person that follows everything in their religion that voted yes for prop 8 (challenge me on this. I dare you.) AND there is a separation of church and state. Stop the state from using the term marriage at all and you can *have* that term.
People voted for prop 8 based on thinking homosexuality is a disease. It isn't. It exists naturally in nature, especially the higher the population. No two same-sex partners in love hurts ANYONE. Their marriage does not hurt anyone.
If you voted YES on prop 8 and cannot give me a valid, logical reason why (we're all waiting. Lots of us. Have I mentioned recently that I'm heterosexual, married, don't believe in divorce for my marriage other than spousal abuse (which would never happen), and about to give birth to child) and would not now change your vote knowing you have hurt millions of other people, you are not my friend.
You voted to hurt people that I love.
