I hate when young adult novels written about teenagers who are sixteen and seventeen, make me realize how stupid and blind I am about certain things at twenty-two.
What makes us think that things might be different in a similar scenario, with the same people, a couple years down the road? Is it just blind optimism, or stupidity or what?
Maybe the sooner I understand that certain things will never change, no matter how close they seem to happening, then I'll be even more ok with this whole graduating and leaving thing.
